We humans are all built differently of course so we've designed a 3rd Valve Trigger for the most comfortable playing position and you can use it above or below the tube into the 3rd Valve. Like our unique 7" diameter Bell, another Ray Farr Flugel 1st!
Our Unique 7" Diameter Bell with a Bell Rim
The Ray Farr "Signature" 7-inch Bell Flugel Horn has the Bell on the Left-hand side, like a Cornet or Trumpet, providing comfort in holding the instrument our very satisied customers tell us. Because of this, the hand of course does not touch the Bell, enabling much greater sound projection. Again, customer comments.

2023 Area Contest Velvet Comment
In the Midlands Area this year, the comment in the Champion Section about Gresley Colliery’s Flugel player’s solo in Red Priest was . . . “Like velvet”.
2024 Area Contest enthusiastic "We Won" Comments!
